Supporting a Healthy Community
Our Foundation creates opportunities for individuals and organizations to come together, innovate, and collaborate to address issues that impact the health of our community and its people. We provide the venue for the innovation and collaboration and funds to support it. Our Initiatives serve as a gateway to connect individuals in the community to additional services from organizations we are affiliated with, such as Plateau Outreach Ministries and Enumclaw Youth and Family Services.
The Initiatives are driven by the Rainier Foothills Community Health Network Coalition. The Coalition meets monthly and reviews 1) Current Initiatives, 2) Next Steps, and 3) Long term goals.
The area we serve covers southeast King County and northeast Pierce County in Washington State, specifically the former logging, mining and farming communities of Enumclaw, Buckley and Black Diamond. These communities sit at the base of Mount Rainier, approximately 45 miles southeast of Seattle and 35 miles east of Tacoma.
